leaky oil pan 94 del sol turbo
i cant figure it out. oil is leaking around the base of the oil pan. i have check the oil pan bolts and nuts several times, and only one or 2 on the back side of the block back out, but the others stay tight, but it keeps leaking. and im loosing like a quart a week. if any one has any thoughts or suggestions id be open to any advice. but i dont know any smartass answers.
Any ideas what to do people ?

and still leaks , does your leak right under the oil filter on the pan, then it hits the axel when your driving and slings it every were

if your pvc system isn't working properly you could be pressurizing your system and forcing oil out. did you use a torque wrench and properly torque the bolts? to tight can cause leaks as well.
i had a pan that was leaking and leaking and i couldn't figure it out. then one day i was under the car and i seen an oil drop seep through the pan itself. i started poking around and their was rust under the paint and it was bad enough that the oil was seeping through.
just a few ideas.

That right there is your problem. There are torque specs for things for a reason. You need to replace the oil pan gasket again, but this time follow the recommended torque spec for the bolts, I believe a common torque spec for oil pan bolts is 8-10 ft/lbs.
Be sure you DO NOT crank down on the bolts, this pinches the gasket and creates leaks.

If it looks like its forcing the gasket out the sides, its definitely too tight, and once its too tight, there's no going back, you need a fresh gasket, and a torque wrench.
If bolts are backing out then you stripped the threads out, you need to rethread those holes with either an oversized thread tap or helicoil insert.
The most likely cause of them backing out is because you put them in too tight to begin with and stripped out the soft aluminum threads in the block.
