When I fill up the tank the car drives fine... when the gas gauge shows like about a quarter tank left, the car starts to bog and die on me. Yesterday it did the same thing but with the gas gauge reading at a little below half a tank (i only had 155 miles).

I am running an ebay FPR but when I fill up the tank it reads the normal setting i have the FPR on (50 i think).. When it starts to bog and die it reads below 20...
I am also running a new walbro 255lph...

Now could this be a bad fuel pump, or a faulty regulator, or my gas gauge sucks and my car just eats up alot of gas..

i had this issue before...it was because of debis floating around in the take...i took my tank out cleaned it changed the filter on the fuel pump and problem solved

 

crap bro thanks man... looks like itll be a while before I'm able to do that....

 

also when I put the turn signals on, the fuel pump noise changes sound rythm and goes with the turn signal click....

any inputs on that is of great help too thanks..

 

you can put some fuel cleaner in and it helps. cost like 8 bucks

i had/ have the same problem, put new oem gas tank, and oem rubber lines, 255 walbro, oem filter. the only thing that i have not changed is the sending unit. all of this helped the problem, but still happens a lil bit less then a 1/4. it used to stall and bog on my driveway or any incline above 10%. now it will run any angle just down to 1/4 tank.
