Default Pulling the alternator on a del sol

Hey, so I'm pulling my alternator on my 93 del sol. It's a z6. I got the top bolts and the bracket off, pulled off the belt. I took the nut off the bottom pivot bolt, but I can't get that bolt out for the life of me. I've tried spraying some pb blaster on it and everything. Theres no room to get a hammer in there or anything. Didn't know if anyone had experience with this or not. Just looking for ideas.

it's rusted in there. i had a 93 civic lx and had the same issue. i bought the car with a bad alternator that just needed to be swapped out. i tried what 4dredDC stated; didn't budge. so, i decided to cut the bolt out from various angles. couldn't get a hammer in there at all. if you don't want to cut the bracket or bolt like i did, then your best bet would be to drop the motor and try hammering away with the engine out of the bay. i cut both bolt and bracket off. i was lucky to have another bracket and bolt laying in my garage. but to the OP, GL!

I'll try 4dregdc's idea, but unfortunately it's not in a garage or anything. It's in my driveway and I have no engine lift or anything.

Used almost a whole can of pb blaster. Hammered on both sides of the bolt. Moved the alternator back and forth a hundred times. Still won't come out. I took one bolt out of the lower bracket thinking that I could take the whole bracket out. The second bolt is in a really tight spot and i can't even get it with a wrench. If I could get that bolt out, then I could get the pivot bolt out from outside of the engine bay which would solve all my problems. Any ideas?

Worst comes to worst. Remove the engine to remove alternator.

Forget the alternator. Just run dozens of batteries.

Okay so what's the best way to cut it out? And can I just go to the local Honda dealer to get a new bolt after?

Already got the nut off the end of the pivot bolt, just need to get the bolt out of the bracket and alternator on the bottom.

You can usually drive them through with a hammer and punch, you'll have to remove the driver's side wheel first.

turn the wheel to the right, get a flathead screwdriver in the bolt head end and pry back and forth.
