what do i put inside my catch can?

 

Oil...hence oil catch can... j/p

 

I personally don't know anything about catch cans, but the guys at c-speedracing.com put in some steel wool

All of the oil that comes out of the valve cover that goes through the rubber hose into the catch can then the air from the hose connects to the intake tube. It just T's into it. I think it's only an empty can but I am not sure.

That's how you hook it up WRONG.

To correctly hook up a catch can:
Intake Manifold->Catch Can->PCV

 

catch cans arnt just for oil.....i believe they also have catch cans for coolant, for track purpose to reduce spills.

 

yeah they do have other ones I remember seeing them in summit
