Default 94 Integra rear conversion

I like the DC5 rear, is there a kit or anybody who has done it yet?

I support anyone that wants to modify their car to their liking. Screw all the conformity. It's HIS car and HIS money and at the end of the day, HE has to live with it, not you.

If he wants to put a ****ing Hyundai rear end on his car, more power to him. Now, I'm not saying I won't criticize his car when he does it and posts pics... but I feel like everyone has gotten so scared to think outside of the box lately. How do you know this isn't going to be the next rusted hood/stretched tire/bike rack trend? (God forbid)

And I wasn't "ripping" on you, just pointing out that you can state an opinion without making it sound like thats how everyone feels, 'cause it's not.

And for the OP - honestly, it sounds expensive and it probably won't look good. If you really like the DC5 back end though, why don't you save up for an RSX? They aren't very expensive anymore, you can buy an early model for about what DC2 GSRs go for.

i see where your coming from i guess. i just hate to see nice integras ruined. and as far as rusted hoods, stretched tires and bike racks, what is this, a VW forum now? haha im kidding, but seriously im not trying to sound harsh i guess i could have worded it better, but im not that forgiving when it comes to radical unorthodox bodywork. its better to spend time and money on real performance parts IMO.

and P.S. the weird body work trend has already came and gone. and i think its safe to say it aint coming back...

I fully agree, but honestly I'd rather see a DC5 rear on a DC2, than another beat down civic on Sportmaxx's.

I agree with nospoolDC2. It's sad to see integras ruined by god awful bodykits. But at the same time, it is his car so in the end he is the one that has to live with it. He will get a lot of **** for it, I am sure...but maybe that's what it will take in order for him to change his mind. Lol. JK.

Buy DC5 rear components and attempt it yourself. No one is going to help you with this stupid idea. The DC2 rear end is meant for a DC2 and a DC5 rear is meant to be on the DC5. Don't ruin a perfect looking car.

Damn man I see the craziest things on here. I think the OP should listen to what people are trying to say. Thinks about in the future when it's time to sell the teg. You dump a lot of money into it but nobody will buy it for the price you will be asking for. Itll be a waste of money. Get a DC5 or keep the dc2!! Please don't do that to a beautiful DC2.

i remember seeing a dc2 with 5th gen prelude tails quite some years ago. really nicely done. silver car. featured in hondatuning. maybe 04 or 05. tried searching and couldn't find it. that actually looked pretty slick. though i'm too broke and cheap to spend what little money i have on mods that offer such little return. looked decent though, nonetheless. dc5's on the other hand...

dudes your all saying no to this guy he just asked a simple request if anyones seen it.. ive seen rsx tails on an integra and also several other tails from other cars.

ive seen one rsx tailight integra for sure but cant find it. i did find this one looks pretty much the same minus the tail and body graphics
http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_...0004_large.jpg

if you take off the body kit and body graphics it actually doesnt look bad.

dont listen to the labelers calling it rice its ur car do whatever you want and let other people worry about what others think about them.

no stop it go get a dc5 dont do the conversion. this is almost like all those other really gay ricey cars with skyline taillights on a honda or the s2000 del sols and other crap like that. i hate seeing that done to perfectly good cars.

What makes me laugh is most (not all) of people that like the current honda car movement are fast to forget that that pic up there of the honda is where we started a decade ago. I'm not saying i like the look then or now...i've personally always been a clean JDM type guy, but i hate seeing kids bash cars like that. If its not your flavor cool, i fully understand that we have all changed our views over the years. But don't forget without those guys back then building the radical-new tuner cars, we wouldn't be doing the 1 day engine swaps now because the industry never would have gone this direction. Someone somewhere had to start the movement, and more power to them. Now they are the legends everyone looks to as heros. As for the dc5 conversion, personally i dont think it would match the body lines of the dc2 :/

I'm pretty sure it's been done, but as most conversions, it'll take some body work. It probably wouldn't flow well with the rest of the car. At least the 5th gen Prelude taillights looked OKAY on 94-01 Integras, but that depended on how the body work was done.
