yea I looked at the picture too fast the first time i also did notice there is no fender/quartepanel damage. What are a good brand of rims that you guys would recomend that wont cost me an arm and leg.
Let me say now that I'm not intentionally bashing rota, just merely showing what has happened in the past. Many people use rota wheels. The quality is just not up to par with other big companies. Look into a company called 949 Racing. I can't say that I have heard anything bad about them. They have some decent looking wheels as well. Good luck. Whats the year and color of your integra?

I think they look good.. the coating rota puts on wheels seems to last, but in the end they are a knock-off wheel.. there have been a few break, but i haven't heard or seen a thread on that in years honestly. It's your money & your vehicle.. just do what you can afford.
Please don't turn this into a Rota bashing thread. If you post please try to provide feedback for the OP. Thanks
Also the 949 racing rims are ''made in China'' I don't see how quality could be different.. feel free to educate me.

I believe Phil(owner of Phil's tire service) runs them in his spu/h2(classes) integra gsr. SCCA and NASA(racing organizations) I think he even advertises them on his website. just google phils tire service.

they arent bad rims they have been out on the market for a long time most ppl will say get the real rims not copys. They arent that bad i know a lot of ppl that roll on them no problems at all
949 Racing wheels are cast and made in China... whereas Rota wheels are made in the Philippines and are cast as well. I don't see much of a difference besides the nut swinging honda-tech'ers seem to have on 949 without actually owning a set.......
would never buy them. too common, too many people have them. discount tire selles atech under the MB label. tire rack has their cheap TR motorsport wheel for the teg. WAY too many options to roll rota. to me rota and drag are probably the two worst brands i can think of for wheels, it's not cause either is REALLY bad, they are just too common. i should also mention i see stocks in the same light.
IL4's Battle Spec EK runs on those 949 UL rims.. It won the 2010 Redline Time Attack modified FF class.
The 949s are good because of their light weight.. They look a little funny, but who cares about looks when you're winning races.
(mind you there's a hell of a lot more to the car than just the rims)

Rota copies companies that design their own wheels. I'm pretty sure we all know what the slipstream is a copy of. And I own 2 sets of 949 wheels. Both Identical. I have nothing bad to say about them.
Honestly, you guys are funny. Now, I can see Idrivesideways point... they are as common as water in the ocean... but for the price I would take them over stock every time.
Trust me, you won't have your wheel disintegrate while driving. Even if you hit a HUGE pothole the worst that happens is you're out $100. And I've literally smashed Rotas into curbs and had them not break.
There's better wheels out there, but for the price and the style, you really can't go wrong with Rota. Like was mentioned, try some other cheap brands though, A-Tech is a good brand. And honestly, for the price, Enkei is about as good as it gets. There's far better wheels (Enkei's are spun/flowed/cast while "better" wheels are forged) but you are going to pay the price for a forged wheel. And the only real advantages are the weight savings, and the fact that they bend and don't crack if you hit something.
You can get into a set of RPF-1s for just slightly more than Rotas will cost you, and the resale value will be FAR higher.

Word! another brand that you may want to look into may be Buddy Club. I own a set of Kuroki F91 in Gunmetal/Bronze (dual color). I didn't pay too much and they are strong but not not all that light (17lbs approx.).
Its really what you wanna do i personally would rather have "REAL" rims then a knockoff design but theres so many knockoffs that are clsoe to the real thing that i dont really think it matters unless ure tryna build a show car but for a daily rotas and drags are fine cuz chances are there going to just get messed up anyway, i have rota track r's on my integra and they didnt cost much, versus if i bought cpr's that look pretty much the same and it would cost wayy more to replace them. plus if ure wheels get jacked then u only lose out a couple hundered instead of a couple thousand. thats my 2 cents
Picture looks as if driver was traveling at a really high speed and must of hit a curb or sumthin in its way really hard now this can happen to the most expensive wheels in da world too
Chances of that happening are VERY small . If you use rotas on your track/autocross car chances do increase but still is a small chance.
If your going to use them for daly driver and occasional racing you will be good.
Look at how many cars are using rotas and nothing bad happens.I had two sets of ROTAS and they gave me NO problem at all.

hard to say what these weight, they don't look heavy but sparco is famous for building strong wheels rather than light ones

and another, only 12.8lbs and $89
