Hey guys! Was wondering, what would you recommend.

To buy a stock EG GLI (Fuel Injected) and engine swap it for a EJ8 Sohc Vtec motor. (Money wise better, imo.. correct me if wrong)

OR.

Just buy a EG VTI haha..

Will you want to do mods to the EG VTI or will you be happy with it stock? If you will be happy enough leaving it stock than get the EG VTI. If you want to do a bunch of mods then get the lower model.

I was in the same situation, but I wanted a del sol. I could have gotten the Si and swapped in a b16, or just bought a VTEC. I bought the VTEC. Part of me wants to mod it, but I am going to try and leaving it stock.

 

Isn't the VTi a B16A.

 

that is an SiR... VTi is a D16y SOHC VTEC series motor..

 

if you live in Australia, get the real thing.

yeah was gonna go with the ej8 motor because i have one in my backyard. so might aswell. but still second thoughts on everything.

but if i dont go with the engine swapping ill just get the real thing.
