brake pedal soft
So i've got a hatch. I did all the brakes and rotors (front only), new master cylinder, bleed the lines and adjusted my brake pedal. my brakes are still soft. i adjusted my rear drums too. Im not sure if i have to do anything else or what to do. any suggestions will help out. Thanks.
*recently got rear disc brakes. anything i should watch out for before installing it?

When you say your brakes are soft, you are referring to the pedal effort? Not while driving.
You did a brake job and also replaced the mc.
Which points to bleeding them again.

"breaking" them in, or bedding the pads is required to get up to full stopping power, but wont cause the pedal to feel soft. It just wont stop as quick as it should.
Did you bench bleed the MC?

definitely bench bleed the MC if its new
1) you bled from back right to left front in order right?
2)how is the stopping power?
3)Does the pedal go to the floor if you are sitting with the engine running and pressing hard on the pedal?
