Adjusting Speedo in a crx si
Hey guys is there any way to adjust a speedo in a crx. Mine has been calibrated for 195/60/15 tires which suck on the car. If I decide to autocross it this year I will buy something better like a 205/50/15 which is a lot smaller. Any way to adjust it?
lol they aren't that big of a difference to need to recalibrate the speedo its only guna be off maybe 2-3 mph if that...
use this tire calculator it shows the rpms only being 400 off not much don't worry bout it ..

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
195/60-15 ....... 4.6in ...2.1in ...24.2in ... 76.1in ... 833 ... 0.0%
205/50-15 ....... 4.0in ...1.5in ...23.1in ... 72.5in ... 874 ... -4.7%

Then how come my b series swap has a perfect speedo on a da trans when its stock size was a way smaller 14 inch over my huge 15. Speedo was gps checked up to 100mph and was maybe 1mph off at that point.
LMAO your talking about .60 of a inch its not enough to change the speed o truly buy your new tires and set them next to the tires you have now they will be almost identical and its not going to change the speed o no more then 2-3 mph
