Default No start (vague to the max)

A while back, my 90 hatch quit while driving. It just died, and my CEL pointed me towards the ICM. I replaced that, and it was fine until now (about 2 weeks). It did the same thing, just quit. This time, I have no CEL or code, and still nohing. I has spark and fuel. Now what??

If you have fuel and spark next thing to check is compression.

Does the car crank at all?

Yes, it cranks fine. I haven't done a compression test but seeing as it ran fine before it just quit, I would assume that's not it. I would think even with the worst compression it would run even if it was half-***. I don't get so much as a sputter when cranking. Also clear something up for me if you would; the firing order is 1 3 4 2. Obviously this means the number one plug goes to the number one spot on the distributor. But does that mean the next one in the clockwise pattern is number 3? if that's the case, I have my plugs in the right order. Is it possible to set the timing without the upper timing belt cover? the car didnt come with one, and I havent found one yet (i think the timing may be part of the issue)

The car wont run on low compression. "low" is a little subjective, but a friends car wouldn't run on 60psi. One of my motors ran great with only 120psi in all cylinders.

Yes, the order on the dizzy is 1, 3, 4, 2 starting from the lower left.

You have to remove the upper cover to set the mechanical timing.

Assuming you have ruled out spark and fuel issues, check the timing and then do a compression test.

ok so I havent gotten a hold of a comp. tester, but i checked my mechanical timing. I found the 3 red marks (well, they used to be) and the white one to the right of them. I lined up the white one with the notch, and the upper "sprocket" was aligned at UP with the lines at the top of the head. Looks like my mechanical timing is spot on. Without a compression test, what else can i diagnose?
