Default Introduction of a 00 EBP EM1 Civic SI

This is my introduction: My name is Michael from Mn., and on Nov. 22 of this year, I picked up my new gem... a 2000 electron blue pearl Honda Civic Si with 7,000 original MILES!!! I have the car fax, it's legit!! It's such a rare find, I had to have it! Traded in a 2002 PT Cruiser for it. I purchased it as a transitional car as I don't know how to drive a manual.... I do now. It's my third car now, as I have a 2008 ROUSH Mustang in winter storage and a 2004 Supercharged Monte Carlo for a daily driver. I love it! and i'm keeping it completely stock. Except those fog lights.... ive taken those off.

Thanks for looking! Enjoy the pictures!!!

Did you find this at a dealer or used car lot? Curious what that low of mileage car would fetch now?

Just cuz it doesnt have the stickers doesnt mean much.

Can we get a close up of the under hood OP?

Anyways, the car is a true gem. 7000 OG miles fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.. How much did you get it for? and will you DD it? Cuz it would suck to see this 7000 mile car turn into another 100,000 mile car.

It doesnt have the vacuum diagrams and warning stickers. The main thing that will give it away is the glue that holds the shell to the reinforcement pieces at the bottom.

Are those the foglight wires running across the radiator support? Holy smokes.

Nice find though, take good care of it.

The car fax is totally clean. I'm the fourth owner and 6 thousand of the 7 thousand miles where put on in 1month by the third owner. It reads very odd, but documentation is documentation... period.

Car was purchased at a Mazda/Chevrolet dealership in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. I paid 7 thousand + trade for the car and had it driven home in a snow storm. (Nov. 22)

The hood has been repainted on the inside for sure. I did notice that the stickers are not present... and I was looking to have new ones put on. IT could have been a show car, as I know of a gentleman who had the underside of his hood repainted and clearcoated. The only other logical explanation is that a "body man" or "painter guy" owned the car and did his own work on it, which would NOT show up on the carfax. I have a friend who has a 99 Em1 Si in Milano Red...has approx. 120K on the OD, the hood and steering wheel are a match to his, as are a majority of everything else on the car. He's inspected my car quite thoroughly, as he's a HUGE Honda-tech.

I know one of the windows has been replaced. I believe the passenger side window. Two reasons why: I found bits of broken glass under the carpet and I found a card from a glass company in the glove box. It was replaced at a Honda dealership or by someone who replaced the window with an authentic Honda glass window. The front fog lights and all the wiring has been removed... had a lot of na-saying and negative comments by people, also a lot of negative nay-sayers trying to rip apart the fact that it IS an 11yr old car with 7+ thousand miles on it that is completely stock.

It's not daily driven, but it's driven a few times a week, then cleaned up and stored inside a heated garage. It's a great car, and I'm really enjoying it! Thanks for looking!

I wouldn't do ANYTHING to that car, maybe a 1-2" drop on springs and a cd player. Anything else I would keep it stock.
