sorry i forgot to ask before, what is your address?
Hey I opened up the package and noticed that the frame has a crack in it in the top right. I don't know if this happened during s/h or if it was already like that but I cannot take it in this condition. Let me know what you wanna do.
Here are some pics of the crack I'm talking about.

sorry to hear that. It was not in that condition before i ship it out. It must be the carrier handling it unproperly. best thing you can do is contact usps about the situation, and see what they can do.
Since no insurance was purchased when you shipped this out, there is nothing I can do and the item is a complete lost to me. I will send it back for a refund as I can't use this plate frame when it is cracked like this. It is not my responsibility to contact the shipper since I am the buyer and you are the seller. I'm not trying to scam you or anything but I've sold and bought many items before online and and it is the sellers responsibility to contact the shipper and see what's up but from my experience, if the seller didn't ship it with no insurance, then I'm out of luck and only have the option of sending it back for a refund. Let me know. Thanks.
sorry no refund, im not responsible for the package as there is no insurance on it. i did my part for shipping it out, and you receive it.
Bro, that's not even cool.
I guess I'll have to file a PayPal dispute then since you do not want to give me a refund. I will send you back the plate frame since it is in no way or form usable now since it is cracked.
The thing is, since I paid Huy Le, huyminhle19@yahoo.com, via PayPal as a gift, I cannot open up a dispute for the item and now I'm stuck with a cracked plate that is useless to me. He did not purchase insurance either for the package so there is no way for me to get my money back. All I ask is that you will give me a refund if you accept me sending back the plate frame to you. I've done many transactions online and I only see this as being fair as you are the seller.

How much was this plate..... Is it even worth the trouble? I know its the principle behind it and im sorry! But is it worth it?
The plate frame is rare and discontinued so I look at it as a collectible. So yes it is worth it to me.
Hopefully you learned a valuable lesson. DONT PAY using GIFT. You are not covered as a buyer by the Pay Pal buyers protection.
^ yep. never a good idea unless you know the guy personally and completely trust them. you only save 3% or some ish.

This thread seems ridiculous. lol
I have had to deal with shipping claims before and it is always much easier if the buyer deals with it.
Sold an S2k cluster, broke in shipping (I paid for insurance), buyer refused delivery after opening and I got screwed out of the $200 claim since the buyer opened it and removed about half the packaging materials used. UPS returned the broken S2K cluster to me.
Bought a JRSC, seller did not put insurance on it through UPS, the IACV and IAT sensor was cracked and broken, I called UPS and got a $130 refund within the next week.
Yea, don't send money as a gift, you are screwing yourself over at that point. I would always just fork out the difference that Paypal takes if the seller is that upset about it and i want the part badly enough. Just for that little bit of extra protection.
