Very hard to start, then dies. Very intermittent
92 Accord lx, 333k miles. Car will randomly decide to not start. It will crank but keep going and going and occasionally it will fire but just to stop immediately afterwards. One time it was running, then died... tried to start it for about an hour (until the battery died). Had to get toed home. Started fine next day (after I put plug wires on, noticed 2 were damaged but that was probably after car failed).
Anyway, girlfriend (its her car) went out just now to leave and it seemed like that battery was dead... I kept cranking it and it eventually started but acted very similar to what I've said above. Any idea? Common issues? I'd say main relay, ecu or coil. No check engine light. Clutch seems very worn, but I'm not too certain its the issue. I've been searching through the forums, but can't find anything identical to this issue.

Some additional information... Its cold outside (where isn't it cold?). Car is cold, hadn't been ran all day. I didn't check this time, but last time I could hear the fuel pump buzzing. This could eliminate main relay. Relay was replaced about 4 years ago, ~40k miles.
