1991 CRX SI, Black Widow Spyder wide body kit, 1999 B16A.
the title says what i've collected.
i bought a Civic si for 500 with everything, i had to unwrap it from a tree.
i bought a CRX for 800, it has a salvage title. i have fixed all cosmetic damage and got it in legal condition.
the CRX is in the body shop having the kit installed.
front bumber, fenders, side skirts, rear quarters, and rear bumper are becoming one unified piece.
i need a litle help on teh know how of the suspension system so i know how to tear it down, rebuild it, sell it, and buy a aftermarket one.
i am going to need to add alot of distance from stock placement and don't really know how.
what would be a GRIP only set up.
i wanna take 90 degree turns at 100. <--- insert sarcasm.
whta would be a good suspension, brake, and basic bolt on set up.
it's new power plant a PR3-3 1999 B16a out of a USDM honda civic si.
soon to get a B20 block...

Most people i've heard of use Tokico's with ground control coilovers since they are budget friendly. Most big brake set ups you have to run 17s, but that would be ok since you have the wide body kit. If you didn't want aftermarket brakes and/or go with a smaller tire you could look at integra brake conversion ( type R probably) or you could look into nsx brakes. The easiest/most cost-effective way to get the most power out of a b16 would be to turbo it.
i'm running 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear. whats a good big break company i can buy an entire set up from? encluding rear conversion kit?
anyone know where i can get a suspension break down schematic so i can figure out what goes where and how it goes there?
before i go ripping into my good stock one i wanna understand how honda does their set ups.
i am a serious noob at all of this and turbo is a NO NO. i don't have the time and money for all that aftermarket stuff. i can't afford tearing my 80k mile engine down to upgrade perfectly fine parts. i want port and polishes, intakes, super chargers, injectors, exhaust, computer work, and other simple bolt ons.
i'm going to build a CR-Vtec for all that wild crazy custom stuff.
and because i'm building that engine in the future there is no reason to compromise the integrity of my perfectly fine motor.

the understeer can be combatted by a good adjustable suspension but idk what a "GOOD ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION" is for a set up like this or even a honda.
i'll be looking forward to your positive imput.
