Default Bumped curb -> wobble, what now?

Alright fellas,

Let me be honest. I live in Austin, I was borrowing my sisters CR (dash apparently) V. (CRV) and I was headed down a street that surprised me with a curb-like median/turn lane. I was unable to react in time and hit the divider while turning right (went over and skipped about 5 feet of the end of the Parmer to Mopac turn lane) and hit my wheel pretty hard while turning right. The vehicle now wobbles hard above 45-50 mph. I think I severely damaged the left front wheel (axle?) and now it drives awkwardly. What can I do to fix it? I'm borrowing this car. Damn it. How can I make things right? Merry Christ(goddammit)mas? Shiiiiiit. Help...please...

Thanks,
This guy.

I'll go to sleep, then read these responses in the morning, and I have a reasonably short time to fix this problem. **** guys. ****.

check tires...!?!?
jack up the front tires, try to shake it up and down then left and right...
i think up and down shake means youve messed up the tie rod then left and
right shakes means ball joint... this isnt accurate but somehow if youve
not put a bump on the tires youve messed up the suspension....

good luck!

If u shake it up and down and there is play that is your ball joints. Ive blown out one of my lower ball joints hitting a curb like that but if u have play while u are tugging on the wheel left and right than ur tie rod has been damages. Check the wheels and tires, its a possibility that you could have warped a rim or put a bubble in that tire.

probably just bent the wheel and knocked the alignment out.

trust any mechanics around you? i'd drop it off and see what they say.

How does it drive funny? at low speeds (25mph) does it pull to one side or the other? Does the steering wheels shake more when turning left or right at low speeds? Definitely jack it up and shake the wheel and see what happens. You could have done all of the above. Let us know what you find out.
