hello every one im have some major car problem i thought my ecu was bad so i went out and got another one and it gave me a code 15 ingittion output so i went and got a distirbutor replacement well i still got the same code car still runs like **** so i took it back got another one now this is three and still have the same problems i know there is no way my old one and two new ones so i know that theres nothiong wrong with my old one but still have the same code 15 is there any thing else that would make my car have this code ive done replace everything all the way to the switch so could the alternator have anything to do with this or what is the problem please someone help me my car is a 93 accord

Between the ECU and coil there is only one thing that will cause a code 15. If there is a short or open in the wiring. Therefore if both the ECU and the coil have tested to be OK then there must be something in the wiring.

IIRC the 93 is has an external coil from the distributor. If so have you tested the coil?

ive put three ecu on it and three distirbutors on it and still get the same code the car also acked like its not getting any fireing when your driving it down the road you put the peddl to the floor it runs good but when you slow down the same problem

As stated above, I am pretty sure that your 93 Accord has an external ignition coil. Therefore replacing the distributor would not effect a code 15 issue. You need to test the coil.

Erase the stored code 15 by resetting the ECU (disconnect the (-) battery terminal for 30 seconds) and then if the code 15 returns. Test the coil, ECU & wires.

Note, if you have the factory radio installed. Make sure you have the factory radio reset code before you disconnect the battery.
