Compression doesn't mean squat.

You build your motor around your cam setup.. not the other way around.

What head setup..? Intake/exhaust/ what type of port on the head.. compression is 1/10th the equation for making power.

Why would you choke that motor with that header? AT LEAST make it the "big tube" tri-y and have a custom megafone w/ 3" collector made for it. Otherwise your just stepping backwards.

You have the displacement and compression to take full advantage of the pro 3 cams. If you use the header you mentioned it will hurt you a great deal. You should be running a custom header ideally but at least a big tube if you insist on using a copy.

There's direct drop in settings for a reason.. any cam thats going to make power isn't going to sit @ 0/0.

The pro series cams should NEVER be installed without checking v2v clearances at the minimum. If you don't do that, you'll be playing Russian roulette dialing them in on the dyno.

A friend of mine has used both cams on his built motor and found that the Tuner 3's made the same power in vtec but less in midrange. The car ran a faster time at the strip with the tuner 3's also...both were degreed in too.

can headers like Bisimoto's V2 or SSR 4-1 Street Sweeper do the job well?...

They are custom headers, so yes, but I would always go with what those header manufacturers recomend for your build and not simply buy any model that you see for sale somewhere.

I think either one would ask for the engine spec before they decide on the size n design of the headers so perhaps that way the header they'll produce is one that really match the needs...or as close as possible to the requirement...that should be OK, rite?....

Yes, that's how it normally works and what makes it a custom header.
