I got a b18a1 in a honda hatch Its stock and i gutted everything. I have a short ram on it now but that is the only thing. I Want to start adding parts now that i got money, My Question is what Should i start With im trying to make decent power With out going ls/Vtec. Any Ideas on what i should start with i Can do most the work my self.

 

Boost it!

 

Whats your reasoning becouse with boost the motor will last a few months...

 

I was in the same boat except with a b18b in my 90 crx si. Had full bolt ons and was half way stripped and was to slow. Got out run by a stock h23 prelude. After that point it was either boost or lsv. Niether I wanted to do since the car is junk. Car has now died and sitting in the woods till I decide to fix it or part it out.

 

Not true with a good tune and the right parts and not beating on it every day and properly taken care of the motor will last longer then a few months people have had turbo motors last years with stock internals with a good tune and not beating the living **** out of it every day lol
