What are the IFO all motor sport cars running?
Trying to decide if I will be competitive enough to race. I need to win. I just don't want to get blown out of the water.
My car is currently going 12.9 @ 106mph. That's with a 1.9 60' on mickey thompson ET streets.
I can run a 24.5 slick and that should help the 60s quite a bit. I think I could best a 12.6-12.7.
What do you guys think?

ya get off those ET streets. Those are a waste of time. Get some slicks to drop 60s into the 1.6s at least. With that gain in 60ft, your overall ET will probably drop to 12.3s
I'm not sure what IFO all motor sport class is. Is that different from the all out All motor street cars?

Best 60' with the ET streets was a 1.85 still spinning.
I would be happy with around a 1.75 60ft on the slicks. I don't know if I could do much better than with the completely stock suspension though. I have a couple tricks I might try though.
The all motor sport class is for cars with full interior/exhaust/registration.
Thats way too big of a tire man. LOL. Thats one reason it may not be going as fast as it should. Consider there's gearing factor as well other than just the 60fts.
You can hit 1.6s on a stock suspension. Just get a new slick and you'll be alright.

12s are very competitive for the AMS class at most locations on the IFO tour. Sometimes 13s, even 14s win! Just be consistent. *Noticed your sig. The MD event was a Maxima vs Maxima final.
AMP on the other hand is usually a high 11 to high 10 second class.
Yes, winning times for each location are listed on the IFO website.

This suspension lifts in the front and squats in the rear. Exactly what I don't need. lol
1.6 60s are gonna be hard.

I was pretty much gonna run anyways, but now that I have a chance, that makes me really want to go. I'll be at the wichita and kansas city events.
Where are the times listed on the website? I can't find it.

My wife runs 12.5 all day in her full interior eg with a stock k24a2 on 22x8x15 slicks. She won the AMS class last year at the IFO in Kent, WA.
So you can be competitive as long as you get some kind of slicks and get some more practice in.
