Stock sleeves is fine.. its not compression that effects a sleeve so much as , detenation, and what not..

What motor?? and why so much.. you'll need to clay, a dome that big is bound to provide head/valve clearence problems.

the reason that high is to just do it. i wanna do it in a h series.
how much does flat faced over sized valves increase compression on avg?

14:1 static compression is nothing...changing dynamic compression (i.e. big lobed cams, more overlap on cam gears, etc.) is what will matter in the stock open deck to ease the pressure on the stock sleeves and allow better running of the high octane fuel you use.
If its an h22a, try to get the older 94/95 blocks that came with closed deck...those can hold up really well...the newer ones came open deck.

cool then were going for 14:1 and flat faced oversized valves.

good luck on doing that on stock sleeve H... they use FRM material and cannot use forged pistons... you must sleeve the block or you use iron sleeve replacements

Do you plan on using pump gas? If so, you're going to have to revaluate your goals.

I bet E85 would do it, you could really help your dynamic ratio a lot also by filling the cylinder with more fuel. When you get up to the compression your shooting for this becomes a much larger factor
It will really come down combustion chamber shaping and piston dome shaping, which would need to be matched incredibly well. makes this idea sort of difficult to pull off in a stock Hseries block

I ran 13+ daily with e85 on a 82mm bore stock gsr block with lots of dyno and track time. There is much more than just a compression # to factor in.

Not many other people build it like that because most people have to use pump gas and don't have access to E85. That level of compression doesn't fit into many peoples build equations that arent using it for racing.
