Ok, some donkey friend of mine who had a black ITR before it got repo'd (he is a donkey) claimed that my stock Clarion stereo in my 2.5 RS wasn't anything compared to the BOSE in his ITR. I told him he was full of **** & that the ITR didn't have a BOSE soundsystem option. I know it didn't on my departed CW ITR, so I'd imagine it wouldn't on the other two model years.

Can someone please confirm (or deny) my beliefs as fact?

I think Acura had an upgrade BOSE system available for the other Integras, but I don't think it was offered for the 'R!?....

ITRs did NOT come w/ Bose, only Matsushita aka panasonic

 

Yoshi, didn't the older ones come with an average run of the mill Alpine?

I remember that for my old LS BTW.

But, yeah the stock R stereo is nothing special and certainly NOT Bose.

I totally disagree,

I just turn off the radio and listen to the wonderful music that the R makes all by itself. That is way better than ANY stereo ANY day...

bose systems aren't that bad.. they are clean.. if your lookign for knock then yea bose sux, but I don't think the point of the bose systems is for knock more for clean solid sound.

 

no highs, no lows- just bose
