Default ebay turbo

do ebay turbos work well?wanted garrett but a bit expensive for me right now.any opinions?thanx.

get it, its fine. just replace the wastegate with one you trust like tial. and get a good tune. you can boost up to whatever the turbo can handle. or you can just replace that turbo too. my friend had a eg with a boosted ls, super fun. he made like 230whp + 220ft/lbs tq could have made more though. but that was all he wanted for dd..everything was ebay except the wastegate i believe

It should be noted that the turbo's usually depend on what seller you buy from.

Some are absolute garbage no matter what you do, others can last a while. You will want to make sure you run an oil restrictor for longer life on the turbo.

that helped a whole lot.thanxs guys.feel better about ebay turbos now.just gonna use ebay turbo till i save money for a garrett gt3076r.thanx again.
