Removing brake MC
93 accord
I plan to remove my Brake MC to replace my proportion valve.
If that is not necessary, somebody please let me know.
I see 2 screws bolting the Brake MC to the brake booster, is that all?
After I do that, I am guessing fluid will flow out all over?
I am also assuming I will need to empty out the brake MC?
If I just top off and don't bleed, will I be able to stop?
I ask because I will be working on the car outside in 18F weather and I don't have the stuff necessary to bleed. I was just thinking of taking it to a brake place and letting them bleed it.
Apparently most shops around here don't like people bringing in parts for replacement, so I am opting to do it myself and save a bit of $. I can see the dam valve, the MBC is kinda in the way.

If you don't bleed the brakes, the brakes won't work, and you will crash the car on the way to the shop. You don't get a choice, you open the brakes, you bleed the brakes end of story.
As for the materials you need to bleed them, get some 3/8 clear tubing from the local parts place. You can use any container as the bleed container, old water bottles work great. Cap 'em off when you're done.
