Default P28 re-worked to run IABS

Hi, im building a eudm h22a5 and ive been searching about how to keep my IABS as this will be a daily driver and id quite like to keep them. i found a thread on another tuning forum that detailed how to adapt the p28 to run IABS. it mentions adding some jumpers and a transistor. i understand what needs to be done and ive got everything to do it but before i go messing about with my board.....has anyone seen/done this? it'd be nice to know if anyone has had a go at this and acheived iab control. i was a bit sceptical because there is very little information about adapting the p28 to run iabs. it makes sense seen as most ecu's use the same board with certain components in different locations etc.

A lot of people do it. It's very common.

Added VTEC, IAB & 0-5v wideband input to my P06 and all three work flawlessly. If you have the right ECU main board and you can solder and follow directions it will work.

I should have this on my clipboard. There have been quite a few people trying to find it recently.

Yes, it is easily done...

As for myself, I prefer to adapt only P75's (1980 boards) to run the IAB's. It just seems to be the more proper board for IAB as this is the same board used for the P72's... Also, there isn't any uneccessary 'jumping' to make it work.

Works great!

Does it help a lot......... it's definitely datalogging friendly and convenient. If your using an NGK WBO2 it helps quite a bit. The NGK does not have a programmable voltage outputs like the Innovate Motorsports WBO2 does. Therefore it only runs 0-5v and this input mod is useful for that situation.
