93 EG Sedan/96 GSR Swap -- OBD0 To OBD1 conversion?
Hello Tech!! I'm a new guy to the Honda game and I just purchased a 93 EG Sedan with a 96 GSR Swap. It's complete OBD0.
The car is meant for OBD1, and the engine is meant for OBD2. So I was wanting to make everything OBD1.
Please, if you could, explain to me the pro's and con's of the conversion, and also, shed me some insight on WHY THE **** someone would take an OBD1 car and OBD2 engine and make then OBD0.
Thank you...
Another question... Since everything is OBD0, what would I need to do the entire conversion?

Depends on how it was converted to OBD0, if they cut and spliced the ECU plugs you might want to replace the whole underdash harness, which while time consuming should eliminate any future wiring problems. You'll probably want another engine harness as well. Along with distributor and injectors.
WTF
Wise decision
OBD1 has the best tuning capabilities, OBD0 can be tuned, but OBD1 is better. There aren't really any cons other than you'll have to buy some stuff
I have no idea why someone would do that, the only thing I can think of is the swap was in an EF or '90 - '91 Integra before it ended up in the civic. Still doesn't make much sense though.

Okay, so how do I identify if they have spliced the ECU plugs? How do I tell if I need to start from scratch?
Okay.... so apparently I'm an idiot for not checking at the time of purchase and the seller is an idiot because I checked and there is no splice or harness... but the ecu written on it says "p61 gsr obd1" if I'm not mistaken that's. The b17 ecu. I got in touch with the previous owneer and he tells me its only equiped with an obd0 dizzy not the whole car... this guy can't keep his story straight. But anwho... I need an obd1 dizzy now. That's it right? And just one quick sidet question. The seller also said the fuel pump is a stock dx single cam non vtec pump ao is that why my pickup is slow? Would the obd1 dizzy fix my vtec problem? Becausge I'm pretty sure vtec dtoesnt kick in at all...
Sorry for the newb questions... but everyone starts off somewhere.

the fuel pump should be ok but i guess its better to change it i'm not sure...cause i ran a single cam fuel pump on my ls turbo and i didn't have any problem
and the car runs right? cause i'm pretty sure it wont even start if the dizzy is a obd0 and the ecu is a obd1

Yeah OBD1 ECU requires an OBD1 or OBD2 distributor to even run. Take a pic of the distributor of you can, include the plug(s) in the pic. OBD0 should have milky plugs. As far as the fuel pump goes any B-series swap I ever did I just kept the D-series pump.
Dizzy is OBD1 with OBD2 Plug. I went ahead and bought the Walbro, just cause.
The car runs like a top, it's just that it runs like a Single Cam. It's pretty slow, and vtec doesn't kick in like it should. As far as I know a GSR Vtec kicks at 4.4, mine comes in at the end of 5 and beginning of 6.
I feel like just ordering a new OBD1 GSR Dizzy online just to start from scratch and do away with this cluster**** of a frankenstein OBD1/2 Dizzy. Start there?

"It runs like a top", but "runs like a single cam"? Holy crap your a complete idiot. The car is most likely not OBD0, and that noise you are hearing around 6k is your IAB's, not VTEC.
