I had one of there blocks, it last exactly 5 passes and was pushing water on the 4th pass...sleeve sunk....so basically a 1k boat anchor, we had 3 blocks done at the same time....B-series sunk also, the other K-sereis, that guy won't use....I won't go there again

Recently got a few blocks sleeved and haven't had any issues with them. I usually have the machine shop sink the sleeves and the last few we got back from them didn't sink. Machine shop process of sinking sleeves consist of bolting down a dummy head with a head gasket and doing several heat cycles in a oven, then checking the deck heights to see if any sink. Their most recent stuff (within past year) hasn't sunk. I do this with every sleeved block I get regardless of manufacturer.
Also, blocks didn't need a align hone.

They make good part, their sleeving however needs works..
blueprint was formly known as import builders.. but i believe its not all the originals..
IB were a good company.. BP has yet to produce anything worth a damn.

Ben at BP is a good guy and i havent had any problems with any of his parts. Im sure if anyone has any problems with their stuff Ben will take care of it.
I have a BluePrint sleeved block now and have had no issues. I know my car is on the front of their site and their car is sitting in my shop so this sound like an advertisement or whatever...but I paid for that block and straight up no BS it was the cleanest nicest sleeved block I have purchased. You can get a nice diamond hone and mine was as straight as it gets. I'm not saying others don't have a nice product, because they do and I've used almost all of them and have had good stories from everyone.
And then in reality a "builder" can easily always blame something else...not saying they WOULD, but they could. Thus why I am a big proponent of dealing locally whenever possible.
Not directed toward Blueprint at all, just food for thought!
I had a local guy come to me with a headgasket issue turned out to be a sunken sleeve. i recommended ERL to him and he hasn't had a single problem.

I use nothing but Benson sleeved blocks and never had an issue yet.... I wouldnt get a block from Westchester aka New York engine Ive seen way too many products failing out of that shop
That's great and all when you are close...but kids, understand that IF/WHEN you have a problem with any block, sleeved, assembled...etc, taking care of it means ~$100 for shipping/insurance each way, 5-7 days in transit each way then however long it takes to fix it.
