Boring 1/4 track times....
I'm on the right
Went last weekend and hung out with a couple of members from this board. There weren't a lot of people there and it was really fun. Did this run with JDM 4-1 header, 18 degree timing, comptech icebox, azenis @ 18psi. Power steering belt was removed with help from arnold and armon, thanks bros!
I slipped the clutch out until it grabbed @ 4000 RPM. Way better than last week's time of 14.9!
I really don't think I'm able to get a 2.2 60 ft. I just can't do it. And if I were able to obtain it, man, what would my 1/4 time be?

98R's w/o ac weighs in at 2590 I believe. Shaving off 200 lbs is something! Yeah, I was happy with a 14.7 real happy, just wondering if it can be improved.

Who do you run for? 45.5 is damn fast, I did the Decathlon for ASU, 9th in the Pac-10 my best 400m was 49.0. And I thought that was fast.... 45.5 is smokin... you could have been on our NCAA 3rd place 4x4 team.
ran a 14.22 @99.8 with my 2000 R with just an AEM.
My 98 best to date is a 14.6 with AEM and JDM 4-1. Nothing but spare was removed from eiter.
Onto weights posted. My R without me in it with 1/4 tank of gas and no spare weighs 2520 with AC. My 2000 R with a Carbon fiber hood, no muffler section and millenia wheels with bald V700's, no spare, less than 1/8 tank of gas and no back seats weighed 2440.
How in the world are you getting an R so low and what did you weight it on?

Well I just raced at the california speedway here in fontana and on their website the elevation is listed as 1121.27 ft. above sea level.
According to this website: http://gnttype.org/techarea/misc/altitude.html. for an elevation of 1200 feet the calculated factors for 1/4 are: .9874, and the mph is: 1.0129. I found that there's a correlation of .0013 secs between every hundred feet, and .0014 mph for every hundred feet.
I did the math with my best 1/4 time of (14.740 * .9887) at (95.02 * 1.0115) and I got 14.573 @ 96.113 Not bad at all for behing 1121.27 ft above sea level! ok, i'm going to stop now.

B2: haha rofl. Ok man, there won't be a next time until March '03.
BTW--this was done at the California Speedway in Fontucky, i've heard it's not the best of tracks.
