Good thing they give you an hour between rounds.

I don't plan to look at all that data between rounds. Just the stuff that matters. I want to learn the most from the car.

I just thought that was comical. Brake pressure?

Brake pressure is common. Although it's usually on the non driven wheels so you know how much pressure to stage with and for burnout.

Alot of what he listed is not something you look at every round, it is nice to have. Data is everything. You can always have a lot of data, but when you do not have enough data, thats when you get into problems when you have something you can not figure out with limited data. If you have no data, you are just guessing a lot of time.

Hope that makes sense. Log as much as you can, that your system will allow. Just log what you think is important first.

As stated above, data is everything when you're trying to figure out issues. I plan on using every available port on the M400, then adding the 888 for everything i've forgotten, lol.

You can never have enough inputs. No matter how many you have you'll always find a way to use them all up.

I personally like using my ecu for all tuning related inputs and use a dash logger for everything else.

Exactly, some small timer like myself wouldn't know what to do with most of that data. What issues are y'all talking about over coming with all of that data?

its simple u do passes & when data starts drifting from the norm u can finds things stating to arise before they become issues,
or find ways to fix issues ending in more power.. the list goes on...

the dyno is just the beginning stage of TUNING a car... the real tuning is done at the track with data.. then hours looking at the data post race reading & making changes on & off the track...

Everyone keeps saying that, but where can you go for reference on how to go about setting it up in detail

The set up I have is a hall effect sensor with cobalt magnets machined into place on the rear wheel.
