If you are saying EBAY "brand" meaning those no name knock offs, I couldn't say yay or nay. If you mean anything on EBAY, just get an EXEDY. I bought one for my car, cost a little over $200 from a local shop. I got one for my friend off EBAY (same one) and it was about $115 shipped (that's clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, and alignment tool).
I specifically say EXEDY because the parent company is the same company that makes the OEM clutches.

absolute garbage man! I speak from firsthand experience. Buy an Exedy Stage 1. To anyone who says that the Stage 1 can't hold any real power...I put it on my nitrous B16, held 234whp and 190 lbs of torque for 9 months and is now on my B20Vtec which makes 240whp and 165 lbs of torque. It's absolutely smooth, I daily drive the car to work, school and on any errands I need to run.
I've had those piece of **** XTD and F1 racing clutches off ebay and they were horrible, the pedal feel was complete **** and so was the engagement. I managed to literally grenade the XTD with a stock DOHC ZC...what does that damn thing make...90 lbs of torque? Avoid them like the herps.

It's a clutch, very very important part of the car.....go with a good brand name only!!!!
oem, Exedy, ACT, ClutchMasters and Centerforce would be the best options imo

Like Deetz stated, don't go cheap. I spent the money on the Exedy and I've used it on two motors with absolutely no problems. The thought of the clutch failing hasn't even crossed my mind in the three years it's been on there. Buy the good **** once and forget about it.
Father and Son's Clutch? Good stuff but sometimes their pedal feel is outrageously heavy for the street. Let them know what you've got. Their clutches definitely take abuse well
pick up a complete exedy oem replacement clutch kit 08012 off www.amazon.com for $96 free shipping...!!!
fersure thnx guys, the exedy seems to be what everyone recomends as i do research, ill checkk out that place on florence to, its pretty close to where i live
autozone clutches are garbage I maxed my warranty out in a year and a half in my d series.
The clutches would come apart or start making noise within a month the pressure plates is what I had problems with they would be nice and tight for about a week then all a sudden feel kinda a light pop and the pressure plate would be soft.....
I use a local clutch builder if you call them the owner will ask you your horsepower goals and give you prices they do very good work he currently made me a 6 puck Kevlar on fly wheel side ceramic on pressure plate side with stock pressure plate they built it is holding up in my 350hp b series

check them out they are who everyone uses in Louisville and i know some guys pushing 450+hp on them

+1 for Exedy. It is slightly more than Autozone one and there is a reason for that... Autozone may last but why take the chance. Sure they offer lifetime replacement but if you have the car for 100k+ more miles, how many times do you want to drop the tranny to fix it.
FWIW, I have the Exedy stage 1 on my EG and I'm running the same engine setup as you. Stage 1 is way more than you need for street applications with that amount of power, the 96$ oem replacement will do you just fine. Recently put an Exedy oem replacement on my EM2 at 125k miles, I expect it to last me the same amount.

ill say this i wouldnt buy one personally but a buddy has a xtd stage 4 sprung boosted with a precision sc34 putting down 350 whp on two seasons one a drag car doing 6500 k launches of the two step on 24.5 slicks and has never had any slippage or a problem with it i personally run competion clutches i think there the best for the money
I've purchased three ebay clutches, pressure plates and throwout bearings for three separate Hondas and had very good luck with all of them. My first was a Sachs, an oem supplier to the German companies, for my '88 CRX Si. Next up (and this is the heartiest recommendation), was a stock replacement (Stage 1) Exedy clutch kit for my mostly stock B18C1 swapped '92 Civic. I beat on it for five years, then sold the car to a friend who has beat on it for almost three years, and it is still hanging in there. Lastly, I bought an Exedy clutch, pressure plate and t.o. bearing from gripforce-clutches on eBay and it's been nice and solid, though 62 horsepower isn't really going to test the clutch too severely.
Long story short, Exedy Stage 1 is great if you won't be exceeding more than 250 wheel horsepower depending, of course, on just how abusive the type of driving it will see.

My throwout bearing is making noise (randomly) all thanks to my ebay clutch it goes away after it heats up. Another issue with is it that one of the springs gave up so i have a bit of chatter. You get what you pay for op
