Hey guy's I'm running the an AEM 1070U box and I keep having an issue with the wideband not working. I first sent the box back to aem to check before I used it and Devin at AEM had it checked out for me and everything was fine... I had a brand new AEM UEGO harness for the box and brand new wideband. We ran it for a bit and it was working fine. At Outlaw in 2009 it went on me, so we grabbed a new O2 for Gary Eng and swapped that in. Still didn't read, so then we went to NYC to Full Throttle to grab a new UEGO harness for the box and it started working again. Awesome so we found it was just that harness. Then this year when I put the car back together, I had the same problem. So I had back up brand new AEM o2 sensors and harness. Replaced everything and it worked again. So we decided to check our wiring and it was more then fine because the UEGO harness doesn't interfere with any of the main wiring. After a few times having the car running, it decided to go again... So I was like what the heck, lol... So now I kinda gave up on it instead of swapping stuff out. Where I have all my electronics is very clean, the UEGo harness for the box is not in contact with anything. If anyone could shed some light, it would be great. Thanks.

I have never had any issues with UEGO/AEM ems as you have had.
You could have tested the harness using a good multimeter to see if there was any shorts instead of simply replacing it every time you thought it was the problem.

It really is a simple concept. Power/Ground to the unit & a 0-5 volt output to the ecu.

If you continue to have issues & don't want to mail the ecu back to aem for troubleshooting
I would use an external wideband and simply use a 0-5 volt input on the ecu.

Yeah I already have the an NTK running off the Secondary, but I'd like to have 2. I'm gonna see if the sensor get's warm though and if it is? What would you think then?

14.7 is a default value for that EMS to display that there is basically no sensor plugged into the harness. I would check the wiring to plug itself. Don't check the wiring at the back of the plug but the front. From the connetor pin to the other connector pin if that makes sense. If it all checks out okay. Than there may be a problem inside the EMS and have it sent back for repair.
