Default CSL Style Carbon Fiber rear trunk lid

Anyone rockin the CSL Style from VIS trunk lid in Carbon? I have been trying to search for images of a rear shot of it installed on the 96-00 coupe but haven't been able to find any pics except for the side shot on VIS's website....

POST YOUR PICS of your CSL trunks!

Why would this thread get locked? I searched and can't find any pics of a CSL style trunk on the 96-00 body style, I saw one pic of the earlier body style and one pic of the later body style, but none on an EM1.

Because there's an appearance thread for this type of thing. Where's the tech?

This is the generic 92-00 Civic/Del Sol thread, please enlighten me on how it needs to be tech related when there is also a tech related section broken down specifically.

well bummer, my bad.

Sweet! If you could snap a pic, I'd appreciate that! I'm up in the air if it will look good or not on an EM1. I have a few friends with them on their BMWs and they look sexy, but the tail lights on those flow better, the EM1 is more "blocky" looking rear end... so hopefully it looks decent. I want to try one out if its reasonable looking lol

You've had 90'ish posts when you made this thread and you didn't know this was a tech forum?

Correct, that is a CSL... thanks for clearing that up. Again, "CSL style" trunk since they do make them for the EM1...

if the csl style isnt in plastic i wouldnt buy it. the real one is a hard plastic. i doubt the cf is going to save you much weight at all. you're just buying it to buy it. waste of money good sir.

I would feel obligated to do as you asked if a few of the following criteria applied:

A) It were in the right forum. (A mod will usually move it anyway, but while you're in the wrong forum I fell obligated to chastise you for it especially if you're going to be a ***** about it.)

B) If I were remotely interested in coupes.

C) Remotely interested in Carbon fiber replacement parts.

D) If you weren't so blatantly lazy.

PS. I don't have 11,000 posts because I bow to the whim of every topic creator on the forums. I have this many posts because of my long membership and people like you.

lazy huh? I suggest you searching for a pic then ( I only say this cause my lazy self searched for a few hours... so since you're such a pro, tag, you're it), then post it up rather than waste time. thanks in advance.

I am honored to think that I'm wasting your time. I'm personally rather amused.

Why not just get one of the trunks, and take pictures and post them. That would be the epitome of not-lazy.

Cool, apparently you did not realize that THERE ARE NO PICS of a CSL trunk lid on an EM1.... again, waste of time. Searched all that, heck even went through all the images, you again sir.... fail.

The show thread is a lip attached spoiler, not the CSL trunk.

Yes there is 2 threads, mods moved one.

Thank you sir! I noticed the key hole is on the opposite side.. I wonder if I could use the same locking rod and just flip it...

^I agree.

Also, there's the same key hole location on both sides of the license plate with those vis trunks.
