Default New Turbo Type R Times...

I know a majority of you guys don't care about forced induction but here ya go.
5800ft. in Elevation at Bandimere Speedway in Golden Colorado...

01 ITR, Bone stock motor, full interior, stock Potenza's, 93 octane gas, a slipping stock clutch, Custom turbo kit including a Turbonetics 60-1 HIFI turbo, untuned @ 6.5psi of boost...

R/T .747
60' 2.349
330 5.970
1/8 8.897
MPH 85.58
1000 11.404
1/4 13.514
MPH 108.18

I believe w/ that trap speed low 13's are attainable w/ a good clutch...

Let me be the first to say congrats on the new best. With some better tires I would say low 13's are possible.

I fully agree w/ all 3 statements My next goal is 12's in my exact current setup, w/ the addition of a new clutch and some tuning. Overall that will be a big accomplishment up here

Thanks.

Thats an awesome time period at that elevation. FI isn't impact AS much as an NA setup would be, but it still kicks ***. Congrats

That's damned good untuned and slipping clutch. Nice times. What's the 'sea level' adjusted ET??

Bone stock motor, meaning no pistons, rods, thicker head gasket, block guard etc.
Thats what I meant, also has stock timing FWIW.

Thanks for the compliments guys
I would assume I'd be in the 12's at sea level but that is highly debatable depending who you talk to

What would be the corrected time at sea level?

It's too hard to correct boosted cars basically. Like I said above, it's highly debateable on what I would run at sea level, I would assume High High 12's though. N/A cars w/ traps under 100MPH for example are usually about a full second slower almost at our altitude.

Nice turbo you got there. I assume you are planning much higher boost since you went with one of the bigger turbos.

Ah, forgot about the boost. Maybe the elevation doesn't make as big a difference since you are boosting?? What the hell do I know! Still, that's fast. How much boost, anyhoo?

Yup, not for a while though. Long term plans call for a built bottom end, high boost, and around 450whp. Keeping it full interior, street legal etc...
Short term plans include just staying stock bottom end, tuning it to run 12's here on street tires
