boosting an automatic how much power can she handle??
i have a automatic ek9 with a d16y7 block with a greedy turbo only on 6lbs as of now i want to make more power but have really no clue to how much power the trans would be about to reliably hold... can anyone help me out??
i have 45min freeway time to and from work... i only wanna run like 10lbs do you think that the stock d16y7 block and trans can reliable handle that??
step 1: keep pushing it till it breaks
step 2: let us know what psi and what size turbo
step 3: get it stickied for further reference
step 4: ?????
step 5: PROFIT!!!

Stop looking at pounds of boost and start looking at horsepower. Turboing an automatic civic, especially one thats OBD2 is always gonna be a hack job though, just in terms of not being able to run a chipped and tuned OBD1 ECU.
