Default How many miles is considered "breaking in a b20?"

I just finally finished my B20 swap running pretty crappy right now cause im guessing everything still needs to adjust. Im gonna do a tune up on her soon but I was wondering how many miles is considered breaking it in? before she can really be driven. Any advice you guys got would be great, thanks

is it a newly rebuilt b20? if not, you don't need a break-in, just do the maintenance on it and figure out why it's running crappy

It would run fine on the p75, might not get its max power but it will be fine to drive. All the b20 is is a bored out b18, the p75 would operate the motor fine.

p75, p28, p06, pr4 will all work. You still need to get it chipped and tuned though for it to run well and even stronger. http://xenocron.com/ they've got great customer service.

If its a stock B20 (not rebuilt) it doesnt need to be broken in.

Go to a tuning shop and get it tuned.

Sitting in a garage for a few months isn't going to make the engine run funny for any longer than a few minutes if at all.

ya know you could always just hit a junk yard and pull a 5 speed crv ecu that doesn't have awd. pretty sure they're under the dash. it'll take you about 10 mins to pull it if you have the right tools.

the proper way to store an engine is to fill it up completely w/ oil and it will run EXACTLY like before it was pulled.if an engine is store improperly(lay'n around),or from japan(lay'n around in japan), it will need a 500 mile break-in. 1000 miles is kissing it's ***, no need for that.
