wet sand with 1000, 1500 then 2,000 grit sandpaper.
buff it out using meguiars ultimate compound. thats the best stuff i've used so far.

I painted my hood yesterday and it came out "OK" but had a few runs and spots I had missed so I resanded the hood this morning and tried it again.

When I sprayed the clear it turned out looking like freddy krugers face, kinda like my hood had 3rd degree burns or something. Im gonna sand it off and give it another try but if it doesnt turn out right this time im going to just take it to a professional...

Any idea why it might have done this? Like I said it came out ok yesterday but looks like crap the second time around...

Gonna try to do this with my duckbill tomorrow... it has a lot of scratches/blemishes/fading, no deep scratches or anything too bad though. Hopefully it'll freshen it up a bit
