I've been curious about some of the things you guys have built or have seen.
In particular I'm most curious about custom built motorcycles and chopped bikes aka choppers.
Lately I've been looking at a bunch of custom built bikes and I am kinda in love with a simple engine and carburetor setup because theres very little in parts. Infact usually these engines are air cooled.
My integra is broken because of spun rod bearing im going to fix that but in the mean time ive been driving a 1977 chevy silverado with a slightly modified 350 v8 engine.. this is how everything connects. I have a job in which i commute a lot. I took for granted the fact that my teg ran on very little gas and was filled up relatively cheaply... Now with this v8 im getting horrendous gas mileage... Usually i would spend about 15$ a week in the teg. I am now spending 12$ a DAY in this truck... I am going to get my teg running asap however I have always had a facination with motorcycles...
I am curious what you guys have built. I want to build one. Mostly for fuel efficiency so I am thinking of using an air cooled 250cc engine. Something to get me around for work but save me time and gas in traffic.

Here is a custom creation of mine. It "was" a ninja 250 and while it is still watercooled the whole package is pretty minimalistic. Gas mileage is around 60-70 mpg and im guessing the total dry weight is around 225 lbs which makes it a hoot to ride.

I helped machine and fit all of the aluminum parts on these two bikes
Confederate Hellcat

Confederate Wraith

It was a very lengthy process, seeing as how some of the billet parts were pre-cast into dry carbon pieces that were then machined by us.
Many nights of late work and taking pieces home to hand finish. And after busting *** all weekend to get them ready for their show debut they ended up sitting in customs for the whole damn thing.
Oh yea, we also machine all of the Roaring Toyz stuff (shhhh, lol)

wow those are some beautiful machines from the both of you i think i like the second bike the most. the 1st bike is pretty cool too and the third one in the very bottom picture looks cool except the front end looks a lil too blocky to me but other then that they are all beautiful
cars are really my thing but just last month i tried my hand at some bike fab...
got given a lovely honda melody mini moped 50cc (1990?) and thought it just wasnt long enough.

i may have "enhanced" my tan a little...

the first one is just crazy

I never really asked what they were worth. Considering both bikes were basically 100% dry carbon and 6061 that we hand finished I wouldn't guess cheap. It got to the point were I was taking parts home to hand finish.
Every brushed aluminum piece was hand finished by me. Talk about an upper body workout lol
We also built the forks and shocks for all the bikes (we machined a lot of parts for penske and were the ranking penske dealer)
