Hey guys im looking to get aftermarket solid motor mounts for my 93 d16 del sol but I cant find them anywhere. On ebay I found every other one except for d16 for del sol..is there any other series motor mounts that would fit instead ? thanks

 

im thinkin the engine bay of the del sol is same as eg or ej. same mounts for d series

 

Have you looked at Innovative or Avid mounts?

You can find everything you need. Look under 92-95 civic, and look for billet mounts (silver in color) you can order those as solid billet on the right hand side. I personally wouldn't get solid mounts, I would just go with the 95a extreme urethane.

ps, If you go with solid mounts your gonna wanna use mad thread locker, and possibly get stronger bolts. The "snap" from shifting hard and accelerating hard can warp the bolts without the cushion from the bushing.

 

Okay so maybe that isnt a good idea then lol. where do I get the 95a extreme urethane ? my mounts are just shot so I figured get somthing stronger

 

Even the 65a Hasports are said to be pretty stiff. It's not going to shift much.

B and D mounts are the same, btw if that helps.

 

so i can order any b series motor mounts off ebay and it will bolt right up to my d16 ?
