With stock motor mounts used on the sides and rear, yes it'll vibrate more but it's still driveable. With stock motor mounts, the rubber inserts will tear faster w/out the front mounts.
If you don't want to run the front mounts, at least get the ES urethane inserts that you can put into the stock remaining mounts. The car will vibrate more but the engine will not move.

the front mounts your referring to are called torque mounts and are mainly there to stabilize the motor from front to back. without them the motor could be torquing back enough under acceleration that it causes a vibration but i think there is probably some other problem

oh ok.. I will probably cave and take it to the local Honda Dealer and let them have a look.
