Default 500f/350r spring rates...input needed

I have the progress CS-II coilovers on my full interior dc4. Currently I have the 350/350 rates. I'm running 215-45-16 tires and am only moderately lowered. Might be dropping down to 205-45 but anyways. Sometimes when hitting a bump or like a joint for a bridge you can hear the car scrape. The top seam in the fender well is coming down and cutting into the tire. Progress tells me to beat it with a hammer and get it bent over flat. I really don't wanna to do that and don't think I should have to. Would upgrading to a 500spring rate in the front help since it's stiffer. Also how bad of a ride is that goingto be? My town had some crappy roadways. The car does have an extra 75lbs or so added to the front from the turbo setup. Also have stock front sway bar 23mm and itr rear sway bar 23mm Thanks

500 lb springs up front should definitely help, although I personally just hammered that seam flat. I'm on stock Integra front springs with the Koni spring perch on the lowest setting, and the tire rubbed away the plastic covering that seam. So I flattened it. No big deal.

I can't really say how much more harsh the ride will be by upping the front spring rate only. It'll definitely be more harsh, but not as bad as increasing the rear spring rates. One thing to watch out for is that the car will have a tendency to lose traction up front easier (understeer more) by going to stiffer springs up front.

Yeah I'll probably just end up doing that but it still pisses me off. I'm not even low I have like a 1"+ gap.
