Hey I just found out that some companies make adapter plates for the Iacv because skunk2 didnt think things through and realize that the iac touches the fire wall in certain cars.

I tried to find any but couldn't. Anyone know where I can get this adapter plate?

What sucks is that my manifold is already on and in the car. Its going to be such a pain to swap the plate in

 

Use a set of coma longs or a wrench strap attached to the engine hoist rings and lean the engine forward a little bit. That should give you a little bit more room to work. Unless you have solid engine mounts...

 

bingo, I have a full set of Hasports mounts. thinking i could take the rear mount bolt out and then tilt the motor with a hoist or a jack
