I ran a Skunk2 mani on my H22 w/Hasport mounts in my 93ex and i will never do it again.

I might be able to find some pictures of it, but I basically had to beat the hell out the firewall just to get the motor to bolt up to the rear mount. Then to get the intake to fit i had to move the brake lines down for that. It was a royal pain in the ***.

Not sure if anybody else had this problem but i dont recommend it. I would just port the stock one or swap it out for the euro R mani. Im pretty sure with all the H swaps on this board somebody else has had better experiences though.

Just curious , did you have to pull the motor to get that skunk 2 to fit or did you disconnect a few motor mounts and push the motor forward. How did you get it on ? I know it's a crazy tight fit .

While the motor was out I installed the manifold.

got mine on, to get it to fit i had to knock off the studs on the fire wall, take the bracket completely off the porportional valve, and cram everything down lol, defenetly didnt like doing that to my firewall but it works, and i put mine on with the motor already in

we pulled the motor 2x. It was a b*tch. the 1st time the AICV hit the brake lines, the second time we broke the tps going backin. If I had to do it again, I would of relocated the lines lower , and use a mallet to make some more room for it. 1 bolt from the AICV is actulley touching the firewall.

I got more pics , that wheren't post on are build thread. LMK you you guys need them.

if your motor is out. then its not a big deal. gives you a chance to clean up the firewall. If your going to try and squeeze it in. I suggest relocating as much as you can befor installing it.

omg thats a tight fit. You diffenetly gotta have the motor out first before trying to install that mani. Have you guys seen good results with this ? I just dont know if it would be worth it unless you were trying to shoot for 600whp+.

well since we had to replace the HG. I decided to take pics to show, how tight of a fit this IM is.

Befor this gets put back together. We are going to take a hammer to the firewall to make more room. To take the head off,we had to take the headstuds (ARP) completely out. Major PITA!

still no vtec.
I'm going to get a mallet and smack the firewall to make some room. then cleam it up and repaint it. see how much clearance I gain.
