DRAG Racing in need for speed most wanted:How will I do that?

Drag racing in need for speed has been the most difficult kind of racing for me.I can't get it!The tutorial in NFS Most Wanted doesn't really explain how exactly should I use the controls.My uncle says the transmission in DRAG Racing is manual and it's all about timing and shifting gears.Can you please tell me the things I have to do to win this?I mean can you please give me clear and easy to follow instructions.You're response to this question will highly be appreciated.

The disc has a gyro-pyrometer sensor embedded into it. You must go outside and insert it into your disc player in your car. Press play, then act like you are driving it and it will record how you do. Go back inside and insert it into your system to see your replay reenacted through the game.
