Whats up guys, havent been on here in a while since I sold my ls swapped eg. Just picked up an 87 Sedan, d15a2 Automatic for the winter beater/ gas saver. It needs a radiator and Im not trying to spend the money on a new one right now, I only paid $250 for this car, and its a pretty well equipped car in great shape. Trying to figure what other Civics, CRXs, etc radiators will work, I havent got to look at what I got and what other ones look like in yards yet, Just trailered it home in the rain today. I know they are all different part numbers, But I fab stuff in my sleep so I can make it work.I was going to ask on red pepper but Im still waiting to get my accoun approved there. it's a PITA to get approval to be a user on RPR - it took me a month to get on there then, if you wanted to sell something, you have to pay.

 

Anyone, I am VERY new to pre 88 Hondas, Learning as much as I can, I just need to know what CAN work in here so I can search around and try to find a used one, I leave for work when its dark and get home when its dark so havent had time to look at that I need. Any suggestions will help me out, Thanks again!

 

Just about any Civic radiator will fit in the space provided but you may need to McGyver the mounting points. That said, it in not deal to make something, anything fit.

 

Yeah after checkin dimensions, all the way up to the half size eg radiators are close, 84-87 has mounting tabs on the sides though, Im gonna hunt got an 84-87 if nothing comes up, I'll ****** an ef one for cheap and make it fit
