Engine swap 1982 Honda Prelude
Hi everyone. So, I have a couple questions about swaping an engine into my car. I cant find any Prelude engines ANYWHERE around my area, and my engine is just about to hit 220k miles. So its running rough, and I cant seen to keep it running good anymore.
I was wondering if I could swap a 1982 Accord engine into the car without having to go in and mod the engine harness and such

Yes '82-3 Accord engine should go straight into an '82 Prelude.
Earlier Accord & Prelude motors shared the EK/EL engine codes but intake & exhaust valves swapped locations in the head with attendant changes to their manifolds and even the heads bolt-pattern was revised, so interchangeability of parts is not to be taken for granted.
Of course even the earlier engines will go straight in too if you have enough ancillary parts.
