When i was cruisin with my buddies, we were at a light and i gave it a bit in to second gear racing wiht my buddies 89 gta trans am 350, my friend behind me said when i went into second gear, a puff of dark grey smoke came out of my cars exhaust, it didn't smell i don't think and it was a cold day, what is this?

 

probably nothing...as long as your engine is running normal and wut not, i think your car is fine.

 

Just something that happens with those redline shifts.
I would check your oil level as well just to be sure.

Yeah i did check my oil its fine, but im almost due for another change of oil, maybe that affected it, oh well sounds fine to me, thanks guys..
