OH ****!!!! Look what I got....

Whatever could it be?! Maybe my new fuel setup!!??!!!

Ktuned fuel rail

Hope you don't mind me asking (and this isn't a slam or anything), but why are you converting to E85?

E85 has a higher octane than pump gas. Over 100 and it burns much cooler so it makes great power gains.

If you want more power just sell the JRSC and get a turbo.

Looking forward to the install pics though.

Oh PS you might want to take down the first pic showing your address so people won't come steal your car.

I believe you are confusing octane (resistance to burning) with power per unit. You are correct that E85 burns much cooler than gasoline, but it is much less efficient as a fuel. It produces anywhere from 12% to 25% less power per unit of volume. (Google is your friend here.)

You are correct and I apologize. I did some google searching and read more about it. They even had a comment about false believe of octane conversions to being 105.

But either way all my boosted buddies gain HUGE power from this so I'm excited. lol

dont you need to run bigger injectors to flow more to make the same power as u did on regular pump gas? i see people do this to squeeze alil more power out but i wouldn't recommend doing this on your daily because u will get half the gas mileage as you did before on pump gas for the same power your making now. good luck on the re tune i hope it all works out as planned.

ok that makes more sense because the b-series fuel system has a return where as k-series are return-less therefore making it harder for us to run stock injectors

I've contemplated making the conversion myself when I was getting everything together for my SC set up but there just isn't many gas stations in my area that have E85. I can't wait to see your numbers after it's all complete!!

I have heard the same thing, matter of fact I spoke to guy who was running e85 and he said that he would have to let it warm up for like ten minutes before he drove it.

When boosted I see more pros then cons.

most places that have e85 also have e70, which is meant to be used in the colder weather...if you do run e85 in the winter, cold starts will be there, the e70 is suppose to eliminate or reduce the amount of time your car takes to start and warm up
