I just used one of those cheap 134R recharge kits from Wal-Mart. It should have directions from there.
Thanks for the posts guys.
I was going to say to search the archives for A/C and thread creator GSRaCeRbOI (me) but its already linked above..
anyway just get an R134a recharge kit.. and look at my thread for the procedure.. its really easy.. and your kit should have instructions..
too bad your in Nor Cal.. if you were in So cal I'd let you borrow the hoses and guages and t-tap valve..
EDIT: the brand I used was Interdynamics or something like that..

I brought my car to an a/c specialist for a leak test...looks like there's a leak somewhere else in the system.
I'll look into the kit as soon as all the leaks have been taken care of.

I've got a slow leak in mine. It would cost me too much to fix the leak so I just get two cans of 134 at the start of every summer and fill it. By the middle of winter (I don't use it anyways) the 134 has totally leaked out and won't kick the compressor on. I figure that two cans a year is cheaper than a new compressor (I think that is where the leak is, or that is where I've narrowed it down to)
