My slow 00 Ek hatch build thread
I want to start a build thread soon to keep myself updated on my car progress but I feel like I haven't done much/enough to it yet to actually start a thread.
When I got her!
I picked her up as my first car, was looking for an em1 but had no luck with that, then gsr ITR fronts, but for some reason I fell in love with this hatch. Picked her up for $4.9k with 81k miles.
Problems:
Slammed on some Ebay coilovers, driving home I was bouncing everywhere on the 405.
Some generic brand quick release MOMO replica hub was making the steering wheel shake like crazy, it was so loose thought it was gonna come off while driving.
Tires were bald on the rotas, thought I could have drove on them a little longer but it started to rain and I was slipping and sliding everywhere.
Recently, stock ECU died, had to replace that. I would have to say it was one of the saddest moments of my life.

Exhaust that came on it was LOUD, and it rattled and farted.
Fog light gauge was too small, shorted the bulbs.

Cheap HID kits went out.
Redo kill switches.
But as she sits today,

Close up Lip Design:

Painted it white:

Exterior:
Honda OEM Hood Bra
JDM Window Visors
Mugen Lip
Rota Slipstreams 16x7 with new Falken Ziex
Spoon Style CF Duckbill
Fog Lights - PIAA bulbs
Suspension:
K-sport Kontrol Pro Coils
Blox Rear Camber Kits
Engine:
Stock d16y7
ES Oval muffler with custom straight pipe 2.5"
Interior:
NRG short hub and version 1.0 Quick Release
Mugen Pedals
SI cluster
Yeah, not much, but I ran through a lot of problems with this car that's why, and spent a couple hundred just to get her working, but well when I get more done, and I will, I GOT BIG PLANS for her, I will post more pictures up, just too lazy right now. As of now though, I'm saving up for a swap, I could get a lot more done, but man.. I really want that swap! Until then thanks for looking!
