I wanted to know other than the toyota cressida what other toyota cars do the 2j drop into and what other ones does it take major modifications to get it into?i checked the supra forums but it mostly just for that car.Can anyone help?

I've seem them in older Tacomas iirc.

 

Don't they put them in s2k's too? I could have sworn i saw a vid on youtube from a shop that drops them in s2000's.

Besides certain year Cressidas, that's about it in regards to a straight drop in. But, as others have mentioned, you can put that engine in to almost any rwd car you want... providing that you can get engine mounts fabricated by a good shop.

most company make mounts for 1j/2j into s-chassis !

 

Yes. you can put them in any car. but it's not going to be easy.
I have 1 in a 1st gen celica and it takes a lot of cutting.

I did a 1jz in an FC and now a 1jz in my 280z

 

It can go in any car your heart desires. There is a fwd 2jz camry as well. Anything is possible with a little bit of money and a lot of desire.

 

McFly should have no problem getting it up to 88mph now.

there's a garage that specializes in those swaps, i forget the name but i know they've done a lot of them.

 

how much is a 2jz with the 6 spd manual? i heard prices skyrocketed after the first fast & furious movie LOL. i wonder if its cheaper to go RB26 or LS2.
