Contaced matt on *****************.com and discussed him making me a short ram manifold 3 inch downpipe and dumptube we agreed on price and i sent him my holset turbine housing for mockup purposes and sent him half of the money up front to cover materials on july 12,2010 and he said it would take 2 weeks to a month after waiting 2 months i contacted him and he said he had some setbacks with his supplier but the manifold was done he just had to finish the downpipe and dumptube and he was going to take $200 off for the delay,i said ok just let me know waited another month he hadint finished it and somthing had come up....I have been paitent with him and gave him a reasonable offer to just ship me back what he hadnt finished and my turbine housing and ill send him the rest of his money still nothing.Had my lawyer send him a letter still nothing ive tried to contact him with no luck im at the end of my rope and just throwing in the towel and chauking it up as a loss.STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!!!

 

Damn hearing stories about this makes me wanna learn how to weld and make my own parts sorry for your loss

 

Sucks when that happens. I was once in the position of Matt, and it took me a year to repay, but I repaid. I decided I couldn't trust myself, and went into a different field altogether.

He contacted me today about my refund will see if i get and get my parts back...i never won any spelling bees....

I had Matt make me a log manifold earlier this year, I got it in about a month with almost no issues.

 

Wish mine had been that easy...I dunno what happined he seemed pretty reputable

 

Matt's a good guy. I'm sure he will make good. Shouldn't have taken anywhere near that long though.

Unfortunately this isnt the first time Ive heard of people having issues with him, but I hope he makes right with this especially if youve got a lawyer.

 

probably my fault. i was slow at shipping him some flanges i was out of stock on.

 

Hum... I've spoken with him via pm countless of times. he was going to do a partial sponsor on my ef build and make me a manifold, downpipe and charge piping kit.

Hes like 24yrs young but talented & use to work for SLS.
He always answered all my questions through PM or text.
He was on our local forms but got banneded due to issues with some mods not due to any poor transactions.

I'm confident he'll come through, although I do agree that nobody should have to wait as long as you have to get your stuff done.

I gotten past bein pissed off about it and found some info on some other forums about him bein slow on shipping and not coming through...guess i shoulda did my homework

Matt agreed to give me a SUPER smokin deal on my manifold, dump, dp, and after some time I wasn't sure we were still gonna do it. It took (I don't remember) how many months, and then one day he delivered it from a couple hundred miles away. The product quality was top notch, and I still run all his stuff today. Every person I've referred him to has had timing issues....major. But they all got what was due in the end. The only thing I can say is that his major major downfall is his timing. I don't know how any long term business model is built upon that, but I'm still confident that what you ordered will be delivered. I've never heard of him actually scamming anyone.

/non-excuse for his inability to do things in a timely matter. Just what I know.

 

same here, the quality of my manifold was great for the price. Thankfully it was winter.

His communication skills suck too i would call, text, wouldnt hear from him for weeks then id get a random text from him talkin about he was busy....but hes supposedly sending me my money back with my turbine housing so will see if he comes through

OP, you'll get your manifold or money. One day. His manifolds are definitely top notch, but his customer service is way below acceptable. It took him about 3-4 months to make a manifold for one of my customers after saying it would only take a few weeks. He even had full payment from the beginning. Nonetheless, the manifold was finally finished and it fit perfectly.
